Old City Oil Drippers Stepping up to the plate to Save 2nd Base

I have been posting on various forums about Dub N Rub...vwvortex, thesamba, dubkorps, renegadevw.com, and dubsontheboards specifically...and made mention that stickers/vinyl would not be done this year due to budget constraints. Well OCOD's Brian Batzel and Rick Milne got their heads together and offered up stickers for DnR as their donation to the cause. Rick did a little tweaking on the original, and here is the final proof of the sticker.
I am tickled pink...pun fully intended...and am very grateful to OCOD. They've been such great supporters of DnR from the beginning by promoting it at Dripfest.

I can't thank them enough. If you haven't made plans yet be at Dripfest June 5th~ I know I will be!

Dub N Rub 2013

****This is an open invitation to all VW (air cooled & water cooled) and Audi drivers****

JUNE 2 2013 at Maple Grove Park and Campground
30 Stauffer Park Lane Mohnton PA
the field opens and registration begins at 8:30AM.

$10 donation to register.

pre-registration on paypal: sbutz10@gmail.com Include your name/address/make/model/year/class

$1 spectator admission donation.

By noon, all the registered cars will be on the field. Spectator voting/judging will be on going until 1PM. Spectators can buy a ballot for $1. All registered cars will receive a ballot in their goodie bags (while they last). At that time the votes will be counted, and I'll be handing out plaques to the winners by 2PM.

You will decide who will 'win' in the following categories, and the winners will be used on the advertising for 2013:

Saggiest, lowest of the low **air ride and static are split this year**
Implants, engine swapped
Topless, all those that can go~should
Perkiest, overall look and feel
All Natural, unmolested and un-modified
Respect your Elders (air cooled exclusive)

Most Supportive, will be picked by the Staff

The show was created as a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk, held in October at City Island in Harrisburg PA.

Dub N Rub welcomes all air cooled & water cooled VW's, and Audi drivers! In the spirit of show&shine shows, everyone parks together with no distinct separation.

About Dub n Rub

When I first began thinking of Dub N Rub in 2008, I had no idea how to run a show and shine or how much work was involved. I only knew that I wanted it to be like a big get together with t-shirts! Dub N Rub started due to HAVOC (Harrisburg Area Volkswagen Owners Club) and has continued to grow because of you.

The past few years I have had sponsors, and it definitely shows in the amount of money donated to the Making Strides walk; which is the primary reason behind having monetary sponsors. The show's net proceeds are donated to The American Cancer Society, so all sponsor money is used to pay for the cost of running the show.

The companies and groups under "A Few of My Favorite Things" all donated services, products or help of some kind towards the show in the last six years. I am grateful to every one of you!! And to all the people who show up at the show to make it a success...THANK YOU.

I'm learning each year how to make the show better, and maintain interest. I am open to suggestions on how to make it more successful and more enjoyable.

I hope to see you in June!
