We sat down and changed up the categories you can win!

**The winners of each category will be used for the advertising for 2013. We dropped a few, made some changes to one, and created a new one

2012 Dub N Rub categories:

Saggiest, lowest of the low

Implants, engine swaps

Topless, all those that can go~should go!

Inner Beauty, overall interior of the car

Cleavage, **overall EXTERIOR** new description for 2012

Junk in the Trunk, for those who like some bump

Reconstruction, for those whose cars need a little more love to be good again

Most Supportive, will be picked by the Staff

We want to make Dub N Rub a fun experience for everyone who attends, so we want to keep it as fresh as possible!! I always take feedback from you, so please make suggestions. We may not always use them, but we are willing to listen.

The 5 W's of Dub N Rub

Here is a breakdown of the who:what:when:where:why


JUNE 3, 2012  this is a date change! Not only is it two weeks earlier, it is now on a Sunday!!!!
at Maple Grove Park and Campground
30 Stauffer Park Lane Mohnton PA
This is directly across from the Raceway. 


the field opens and registration begins at 8:30AM and closes at NOON.
$10 donation to register.
$1 spectator admission donation
$15 t-shirts

By noon, all the registered cars will be on the field. Spectator voting/judging will be on going until 1PM. Spectators can buy a ballot for $1. All registered cars will receive a ballot in their goodie bags (while they last). At that time the votes will be counted, and I'll be handing out plaques to the winners by 2PM. You will decide who will 'win' in the following categories:

Saggiest (lowered)

Best Cleavage (OVERALL EXTERIOR)

Best Topless (convertibles)

Implants (engine swap)

Inner Beauty (overall interior)

Junk in the Trunk (sound system)

Most Supportive (Most supportive of breast cancer awareness) STAFF CHOSEN FOR 2012

The show was created as a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk, held in October at City Island in Harrisburg PA. The net proceeds from the show will go to the walk via team Dub N Rub!

Dub N Rub welcomes all air cooled & water cooled VW's, and Audi drivers! In the spirit of show&shine shows, everyone parks together with no distinct separation.

June 3, 2012: 5th year of Dub n Rub

Year #5, and I'm setting the bar pretty high. 

I've confirmed that the show will be June 3, 2012 at the Maple Grove Park/Campground in Mohnton, PA.  Registration will open at 8:30am with awards being presented at 2pm.

A Sunday show will open up doors to more people and sponsors. The show is growing bigger and bigger each year, and hopefully these changes will be for the good of the show. 


Old City Oil Drippers present Dripfest the first Saturday of June, and with Dub N Rub being the next day we are going to work together to have a VW fun filled weekend!!

It was a great day on Saturday. I am able to donate around $4000 to the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk.




I want to thank everyone who helped me out at the show. My sponsors, the companies that donated, the vendors that donated a portion of their proceeds, and everyone who showed up!

It is amazing to see everyone there, and having a good time.
I was able to donate $4200 this year, which is more than double last year! You all are amazing, and I'm so glad to be a part of the VW scene.

Thanks again, and next year is #5...it is going to be awesome!

The Shop Autowerx, LLC

Jake just confirmed that The Shop Autowerx LLC will be in attendence stamping europlates on Saturday. They'll have special pink plates, and they're planning on donating 100% from the sale of the pink plates to Dub N Rub!!
There is a limited supply of pink plates, so make sure to get there early!!
The pink plates have a 10 character limit, and the text is black.

They'll also be stamping the europlates with the country mark on them, and those have a 9 character limit.
